Weird thing happening with windows 7

I left it checking the disk overnight. When I came down this morning, it was at the password stage on the screen. No messages about the check.
I then put in the password, it loaded immediately. I then shut it down and restarted it. All worked fine.
I suppose the test will be when I get home this evening and it's been switched off all day.

if you go into windows logs->application and look for the entry with a source of "chkdsk" with a matching date and time of when you ran it.

you should be able to highlight all of the text in the general tab and ctrl+c to copy it. paste it in here and we'll see if it fixed anything

great stuff

just keep an eye on it and any other odd little errors. it might have just been a one off disk error, if stuff keeps being "weird" it could point to a failing disk.
