welding glass?

Went to buy the machinemart version but inc postage it was £9. Bought the ebay version for £2 posted and a cheap uv filter for about the same instead.

Just need some glue, an elastic band and some talent and long exposures are mine...

you can just use a cokin filter adaptor ring and 3 bits of blue tack instead of the glue and rubber band - can't help on the talent front as i don't have any to spare

if i had seen this earlier i know someone who has loads that you could of had for some chubb change.

i have only really used mine once but looknig at doing some more in the new year.

No need for glue and elastic bands...

Just stick a ring of blutack around the spare UV filter then firmly apply the welding glass to it. If done properly there's no light leak and it's still easy to remove the filter from the camera.
