Were should I buy a 7D from then?

Who is HDEW please? I don't have anyone local any more what about photodirect on eBay. I'm after brand new so I can get the cash back for a grip
 
Buying from Hdew won't qualify for cashback as the camera is an import. However it's more than the cost of a grip cheaper than the best UK price I can find anyway, inc the cashback.
 
Warranty is usually the only real issue, but as Hdew offer 3 years it's nothing to worry about. I'm not 100% sure why but if you do order from Hdew you should request a VAT receipt, and they'll supply one.
 
Check Kerso for his prices, usually lower than UK retail and close to general import prices but qualifies for cashback which can make him cheapest overall.
 
I went with John Lewis, as with a body I want someone local in case it all goes horribly wrong. Okay it costs more, but I got a 2 year warranty and know that it'll be sorted with no fuss if anything breaks.

Also picked it up from waitrose the day after ordering.
