I headed down to west beach to try and get a sunset shot. the clouds stopped this but i was patient and waited a while and was lucky enough that the sun broke through the clouds as it set. compositionally the picture is slightly spoilt by clipping off the wet sand at the LHS but it meant i didnt have too many parked cars in the shot and the highlights at the very top are slightly blown.

i am posting one shot of the relfections on the wet sand and another of waves adding to the FG interest and is a little more dark and brooding. which do you prefer.

I like the waves best. The colours of that one fit the mood better.

First shot for me love the light reflection off the sand.
The second shot is too blue causing to look unatural imho.
