Wet clean

Looking for a reasonably priced wet cleaning kit to wet clean my D700 sensor before i start to use it as a backup.I have various other cleaners but they aren't shifting the marks so a wet clean is needed.I see loads on the market but wanted your opinions to remove stubborn marks.

I use Visible Dust products - swabs and Vdust solution. I've found it a bit hit & miss - but that is probably down to technique rather than product. I've seen results of a professional sensor clean and it was so bad it was sent back for them to try again. I'm therefore more than happy to do it myself, even if the results still aren't perfect.

Another vote for Visible Dust sensor swabs.

I bought mine from Camarthen cameras via Amazon and used my Eclipse fluid.

Took three goes to get rid of the majority of the marks and the rest are only visible at high f stops or I can easily clone out in LR or PS.

Nope I knew that as I use a dremel for those nasty stains.

How do the sensors get stubborn stains in the first place? Perhaps learning a technique for changing lenses........

Nope a mater of changing lenses from wildlife to landscape lenses over 4-5 years- it all takes it toll.
