Basically, when ever I am at a motorsport event, and it rains, within seconds the camera is away, in the bag, water proof.

Was put off going to a track day Saturday because of the rain and drizzle. Someone mentioned to me about getting some wet weather stuff for my camera so I can go out in such instances.

But my question is ... what exactly do I need to get?

Camera is a Canon 1000D, used with a 75-300mm Canon lens for motorsport, and a 18-55mm for "normal" use.

Any suggestions are welcome!
 
Hit me with some links and prices of different varying products and I will take it from there.

Would rather something that is designed for the purpose rather than something make-shift like freezer bags and elastic bands etc.
 
only thing i found with the optechs is they can fog up really bad.

for stormjackets, warehouse express sell the smaller ones. the pro ones you need direct from them (see google). there are cheaper versions available.
 
Quite like the look of those storm jackets, think I would rather invest my money in something a little more pricey if its going to protect my camera.
