Went for a walk with my camera yesterday..and my missus. She asked if she could take a couple of pictures with my camera. Well I thought, can't do any harm. Long story short...I never got my camera back, she really started getting into it. Suppose the good news is that it gives me an excuse to buy another body...you know, to maintain marital bliss and all. I wouldn't want to argue over who is using the camera!

The pictures were shot on ISO 800, hence quite some noise, but at least it gives an indication of the A300's performance at this ISO level.

good images there... i have a 350... i aint tried macro photography with it yet.. what lens did she use?

I'd be happy if they were mine. She's got a good eye, just make sure you get the new body

Thank you. She used a Sigma 70-300mm APO DG (not that means much to her!) with the macro switch on.

Tell her if she loves the a300 so much she can have it and you will be willing to buy an older a700 and make do for now
