Whilst its not as devastating as commercial whaling (obviously), I still feel very uneasy reading articles like this.
The distress the whale must be in during the whole ordeal :arghh:

I agree ....... maybe it was necessary years ago food food and oil .......... this is surely not the case today

This is one of those communities I guess some people would say need to be brought up to date with our modern ways and 'civilised' ... they've been at one with nature and taking only what they need to survive and making little negative impact on the natural world. Time to be brought in line with us and help destroy everything.

Although the documentary on Beeb 2 was interesting,it was another example of their shows focusing too much on the presenter and his feelings about it.
