What are your views on something like this

Even from the small pictures shown the poor image quality in the corners is visible. I don't have any direct experience though.

My thoughts, it it was me would be will I actually use it?
The image quality looks pretty poor, but is is 30 quid...
I guess at that price you have nothing to lose... :)

I guess its up to you. I don't think i would bother personaly, but if you have a use for it and at that price...

Those things are unspeakably horrible.

One problem with these is to get a full frame fisheye (circle) you usually need a 28mm lens on a full frame camera, an 18mm on a crop sensor just wont give the full effect, (see pic) heres a shot with a Jessops version I bought years ago, centers not bad, but the edges are pretty grim, shot on a d30 with the kit lens (the only gear I have home right now) the full circle is fun, but it is a bit of a one trick pony.

.

Except 30 quid

I like the way they describe it as being from their "Professional" series - must be good in that case  *

* is there a "sarcasm" smilie available anywhere?

Hi I have had no direct experience but have seen some photos on another forum and they were fun.

I have been thinking about one myself.

For the price I would give it a whirl and really just try it for yourself if it is not to your liking you have'nt broken the bank and you can always sell it on.

I remember it was either on here or another forum and someone said they had no use for the nifty fifty and I was like 'WHAT?????'

SO REALLY ITS EACH TO THEIR OWN.

LET US KNOW HOW YOU GET ON IF YOU BUY IT.
