Firstly im struggling to search for bags as 'bag' is too short a term...

What im after is a bag that will hold a 7D - ideally with a 24-105 f/4 L is attached.

Ideally I'd also what to have 'pouch' for another lens.

But size is an issue, smaller the better - ie something for on holiday & hiking?

Thanks

I recommend the Lowepro Slingshots. The 100 might be big enough if you just want it for a few bits and bobs. The 200 version isn't much bigger but can fit more lens and stuff because it's deeper (wider). Here's the link >clicky<

Thanks - Just the job some of them :)

Sure are. I have the lowepro 200. It goes over 1 shoulder (over your head), and it swings nicely so that it's flat in front of your belly/chest for easy access to your camera. Hence the name "slingshot"! That's why it opens at the side as opposed to the top. Really comfy too, not sure how I managed without it!

I have the Slingshot 200 AW and am happy with it. I find that using the extra support strap is needed while walking/trekking.

I have a 75-300 and a 50 in there with usually my 18-55 on the camera, and still space for odd stuff.
