Age old question do i buy Nikon d90 or Canon 450d ???? i ask because i've always used canon from my old A1 to the D30 but now it is time to enjoy my hobby a little more

Also which photo shop? i have no idea so if you have any ideas let me know please:bang:
 
I usually buy from warehouseexpress.

The nikon D90 is definitely better than the 450D. But that is not a fair comparison. The D90 is newer and a whole tier above the 450D.

If you want a canon equivalent to the D90, look into the 550D or 50D.


If you already have canon lenses, I wouldn't bother switching to nikon unless you find their ergonomics more comfortable.

lenses from the D30 should fit and work with the Canon's but will NOT work with the Nikon, you will have to buy all new lenses to go with the Nikon.

If looking at the canons I wouldn't buy anything new below the 500D, and as said would look at the 550D or even better the 50D.
