What do we think of the Tamron SP AF 10-24MM F3.5-4.5 DI II LD Asph for Nikon

Exactly the same one for Canon is HORRIBLY soft (barely usable from f/8)

Also Tokina 11-16 f/2.8 - £450-500. Excellent and not too expensive.
Tokina 12-24 f/4 - great and really affordable. get either one of these 2.
