I normally go onthe basis of "buy cheap buy twice"

But I fancy having a play with the potential 8fps that I can get out of the D700. Has anyone bought one of these. If nothing else it could be a way of getting a cheaper charger for a better battery maybe!!

Read the negatives on his feedback and make a decision.

You can achieve it with AA batteries in the grip or there is a "hack" to get short bursts at 8fps without the grip.
