what does each pin on lens do?

Okay

6 volts for the lens focus motor
0V (double width pin)
5.5 volts for the lens logic power
Data from camera to the lens
Data from lens to camera
Clock pulse for the data transmission
Logic 0 volts

Some lenses have three extra pins to detect whether an extender is fitted.

any ideas on pulling it out i have used isopropyl

Is it stuck completely in or is there any the of the pin head standing proud ?

Wondering if you can very carefully get hold of it - or alternately, have you tried pushing it in continually to see if it releases itself ?

i have used isopropyl…

Hi Ladybird
A good idea? Not so sure…
A student of mine had the same problem and I used successfully a silicon lubricant,
the same I use for the electronics in my guitars!
