No matter how many times I try, I just can't seem to get my head around all things strobist, whether it be on-camera, off-camera, studio, etc. It's just something that seems to be a mental black spot for me :bang::shake:

Anyone else have a particular aspect that they just can't seem to grasp? :shrug:

i have to agree, i can get some good pictures with OCF but i really have to work for it, to the point where it stresses me out, i can never manage to link the right power/flash zoom/distance/height right however hard i try, would love to go on a strobist course but pennies dont permit...

I do agree with off camera flash, studio lights are easy. Set power on the back, adjust power as you need and snap away.

I've 2 SB900's and I am still in the basic learning sections with them.
