What dpi for canvas prints?

Hi,

I'd like to get a couple of large canvas prints from Photobox before their 2 for 1 runs out tomorrow evening.

I've printed A2 photos from my old 450d before (4272 x 2848 size images) and they've come out fine but I'd like to try 80cm x 53 cm canvas prints. Do I have enough dpi/resolution to get a decent enough canvas images at that size? Do canvas prints require the high 300dpi that photos generally get printed at?

Sorry, I cant answer your question but I'd stick to a print and a frame. Less chance of fading over the years. I personally dont like canvas prints much as I do like a nice looking frame.

I love canvass on the wall, its an each to his own thing i think

it'll be alreet, the dpi is fairly low on the printers generally
