I'm considering getting some grad filters for general landscape use, and I'm not at all sure would appreciates some advice on what densities to get. I was thinking of a Cokin P series kit which contains 1 stop, 2 Stop and 3 Stop filters, would that cover most of the frequently used range?

2 and 3 stop grads are most useful.

Hi, agree with Richard above 2 and 3 stop filters. One of each hard and soft grads. Cokin are OK to start but you will still want to get better as time goes on so look on the for sale forum here and if available buy better quaility (Lee) even if you can only buy one at a time IMO well worth the money. Hi Pag,
I have the following:-
77mm adapter ring
72mm adapter ring
3filter holder
W/A filter holder
P154 ND8 = 3 stop
P152 = 1 stop
P153 = 2 stops
3 soft grads

pm me your address and I'll send them to you, I have no need for them anymore as I moved over to the Nisi filters a while ago so you're welcome to to them to get you started.
