what Focus rails

Hi all i'm fairly new to DSLR photography and as the title suggests i'm considering getting a focus rail for macro photography but which one,

I have read reviews on the Manfrotto sliding macro rail which were very mixed ,

Kirk FR-1 is too expensive,

Found no reviews on the Redsnapper focus rail which is about my limit price wise,

Finally there are the Rails on Ebay,

opinions please,

I used to have a manfrotto macro rail but swapped to a
Velbon mag slider (same as Dave in Wales) which has less play in the rail / tightening mech.

gonna get myself the velbon rail after seeing it,and having a play at focus on sunday...briliant piece of kit IMO
