What in the world did I do to my 5d3 focus system?

Well I finally decided to dive in and really get to know my camera's inside and out so that I could take advantage of it's power. I am starting with the focus system and have been reading and playing with setting. I played around with the AF conf tools, the AI servo priority (setting to focus priority on both 1st and 2nd), and pretty much everything else on the AF system. Now it will not lock focus in AI servo mode for some reason. It works in AI focus and one shot but no longer in AI servo. Does anyone know why this is happening and how to correct it? :help::banghead:

Oh and if it matters I have a 70-200 2.8 II attached to it.

I would just do a reset Shayne.

Go to the 4th page on the spanner menu and you can clear all camera settings. That should put it back to the factory defaults..

When I first got my camera I too played with all the modes, experimented so I knew what they would do, how they worked, and ended up resetting everything.
However, having played, I now have a couple of custom modes setup to do different things. One of which is setup for unnoticeable shooting, silent shutter, screen off, minimum shutter speed, no beeps etc.

I like the idea of a silent mode setup. What I am working on now is basically getting the focusing system down so that I can use all of it's power. I figured out what I did that made it act odd. Problem solved....
