I have always been interested in and enjoyed wildlife, so it's a way of giving purpose to simply hanging out in the countryside without being thought of as a pervert .

Wildlife photography is therapeutic and grounding but also very challenging.

By exclusively shooting in RAW I always have the opportunity to process and present my efforts in the way I prefer. I don't sell my work and enjoy sharing my enjoyment of my images.

Photography makes me happy. The kit makes me happy. It helps me through difficult times. It enables me to give people presents that they love. I like a challenge and it gives me a buzz that I used to get at work..early retirement is great but I would be lost without its challenge. I am pleased to say that I am still improving. Hope that never stops.
