Hello all,
This is for a compact camera.
just wondering does the original gorilla pod have a fixed attachment so you can not move it all you can move is the stand?
and the hybird is exactly the same just with a ball head so you can move it in all directions?
yet the ball head is more expensive than the tripod on its own:

thinking of getting the hybird as it offers the best value for money? i assume not having a ball head would be an absolute pain?
i have never bought a tripod so wanted to check with you knowledgeable people first tat my trail of thought is right
thanks
