Found this in an old box of photography gear from a sale...Can anyone identify this, it looks like it is something to do with slides, but am unsure.

No idea, but E. Letiz is the company that started Leica.

The name Leica comes from Lei tz ca mera.

No, nothing to do with slides (unless they had dual usage)

It's a Fuldy focussing stage that was used on the old screw mount Leica cameras.

Thanks for the replies guys.
This makes sense as in the box were 3 x Leica Lenses.
Seems its used as a close up...
