What Lens for short oval motor sport

what do you all think? have I got the right idea or not
i dont want to spend too much but I do want something that will do what I need

70-200mm f4, is an awsome lens and you will love it.

Do you find that you need to be at the longer end of the 75-300 all the time? If not the 70-200 is a cracking lens for motorsport!

it depends where I am if I'm at my local track (York) yes I am at the longer end but most people seem to use a 200 or a 250 some with a converter to gain the extra length.Could i use one with these lenses??

You could use a 1.4x convertor, but not sure how that would affect the quality.

Plus you can save yourself a fair bit of money as well, I have this lens and it is excellent at what it does.

Compare the results with the 70-200 F4 and judge for yourself whether you need to spend the extra £350.00.
