What lens mount is this?

Looks like Sigma DL for Canon I think Steve? EF?

Fuji X?

The presence of both the 'white' and 'red' mount alignment dots reminds me of Canon E-FS lenses but IIRC on Canon the two dots were not in alignment as your lens shows

Yes, that is what it is, or was it is now Canon EF.
Cut the ribbon cable and took a Canon mount from another Sigma lens, now it works on the Canon with manual focus and aperture wide open :)

What cameras used that Sigma mount?
They are off their older SA range of film cameras from what I read. No adapters to EF available due to flange distances, I think what you've done is about as good as you can get and what I have heard others doing with these lenses.
I also was wondering if after removing the SA mount it could be replaced with a customly adapted chipped m42 to ef adapter so you could still have focus confirmation? Still have to shoot wide open though.
Do you still have infinity focus?
