These lenses are very different in terms of application, what do you want to take pictures of? It would also help to know what camera you shoot as full frame v's crop will make a difference.
 
The 50mm F1.8 is great for the price (unless you NEED 1.4)
What about a pre-owned 105mm macro?
 
I have the nikon 50 mm f1.4 G and the tamron 90mm macro, if I was going to pick which one I would go for the Tamron 90mm macro as its more flexable in its use and does allow quite close work. However the Nikon 50mm f1.4 is still an excellent lens and gives great results as well.

The 1.4 would obviously be better able to cope in low light, but DOF could be an issue fully open.

You can pick up 105's within your budget, but obviously if you prefer new then not.

What about the 70-300mm zoom? Another great lens for the money.
 
why not save up a little more, no need to rush into one is there? :)
 
I would say if you already have a 35 & 40 then getting a 50 is pointless, get the tamron and sell the 40 to help fund it
 
All seems a bit pointless to me, only get a new lens if you need one not for the sake of it. What are you trying to shoot with your current lens lineup and nit getting the results you want? Where do you see the weakness in your lineup? You need to know what you want a lens for otherwise you might as well just puck one at random.
