What lens?

Morning I'm really into taking action shots of my dogs running. Looking at investing in a new f2.8 lens , what would recommend ? My dogs are greyhounds and whippets so they shift !

Would it be the Nikon or sigma or tamron version?

Any would fit mate, but if you had the cash then treating yourself to the Nikon version would be the best option.

Agree with David above but just to add, on DX the original Nikon VR 70-200 is an excellent performer and there are some decent second hand ones to be had.

I have the original VR on FX and I'm very happy with it.

70-200 as first choice, and Sigma 120-300 as second, i have Canon 300mm f2.8IS mk1 since i think 2007 and it is still strong until now, using it on my 1DX and still amazes me, but those primes are out of reach for many.
