What other hobbies do you have and other odd questions

Lefty Leo here too.

History ( reading and learning, as opposed to making) esp 18th/19th Century France.
Reading
Forum Surfing
Skiing
Sitting, I do a LOT of sitting.

On the "sinister" theme... you can add in "cack-handed", "gauche" and "goofy". Whereas those of you unlucky enough to be right handed get "dextrous" , "adroit" and scissors / tin openers / most heavy machinery and instruments AND cameras!

On the cusp between Capricorn and Aquarius which, given some of the other replies, could account for the fact that I use, or used, a knife and fork, rifle and snooker cue left handed, a pen right handed and screwdrivers with either hand.

Other hobbies - Merchant Shipping, 20th century naval history in particular and history in general.

I'd like to add, as an aside, that I know my star sign to be LESS relevant to any aspect of my life than the following...

The fact I was born on a Wednesday
The colour of eyes of the midwife who delivered me
The number 1 single three weeks before I was born

In short, astrology is piffle. (handed-ness on the other hand is significant and has been throughout my life)

Fishing (mainly just barbel these days)
Clay pigeon shooting
Walking (if that's a hobby
dunno.gif
)

Gemini

Right handed :)

Cack handed .. witch etc.. i grew up with all that from my parents, they were all lesser righties..

As for astrology i read about true capricorns and cringe, i am so capricorn most of the traits

Aries, left-handed

Collect empty wine bottles. Well, until recycling bin day anyway. :D

Walking about my only other "hobby"

Sagittarius

cack handed

1. fishing
2. collecting antique maps
3. researching the defensive capabilities of Norman and Medieval domestic architecture (not castles) with a view to eventually writing a book on the subject.

Leo and right handed.

I like a spot of fishing on the rare occasions when I have a free weekend and it's not cold and wet.

My other hobby which seems to have complelty disappeared out of my life is car audio. Used to compete for a few years and was European champion for my class one year. But that was a real money pit and I just can't afford to do it any more. :(

Scorpio - Right handed
Collect model cars and automobilia
Weight training.

Taurus, Right handed

1 other 'hobbie', Cars. I do all my own mechanic work including the 600whp build on my Audi B5 S4..

or

2, Socialising..?

Right handed pices.

No other hobby/pursuits other than photography. I like cars/driving too but that's because I enjoy travel and my photography reflects my travel

Unless you count watching TV and eating out a hobby

Left handed
Gemini
Mountain biking, PC building, Model making, DIY, being a jack of all trades and a master of all too! :p

Hobbies:
Motorsport - Competing, organising / running events, marshalling (not much now as a Sunday on a post leaves me too knackered to work on Monday), photographing it (on the rare occasions I'm at an event only as a spectator) and sitting on various committees, from my club to the local regional association.
I read fiction: novels (classic, contemporary, scifi and fantasy) and comics, have various subscriptions running at Forbidden planet.

Right handed. Birthday at the end of June so someone that knows astrology will be able to work out the star sign.

Libra, right handed.

Bit of reading and cycling...just not at the same time.

Right on the cusp between Leo and Virgo.
Right Handed.

Fish keeping
Clay pigeon shooting
Reading (mainly fiction : horror, sci-fi and thrillers but also like true crime)
Quilling (arty crafty stuff with little rolls of paper)

(I see a bit of a theme developing here with hobbies - strange how so many of us have other hobbies in common too)

Careful - it's addictive when you get started.
I don't have any photos on this machine, but I've made handmade cards for people, decorated eggs 'faberge style', snowflake Christmas decs and I made this sort of thing as decorations for my friend's wedding.

Pisces... right handed(but can write either left or right handed)

Hobbies... falconry, shooting, reading, walking.

I've just been googling it, it's awesome and right up my street for arty handmade stuff.. it's amzing what you can make, i could be tempted:)

I read books by people like James Herbert, Stephen King and Dean Koontz, so if I read and ride, I could get scared and crash ;)

Quick....favourite Koontz!

Not asked to me I know, but I think I'd have to go with Dragon Tears.

You don't need the expensive kits either. In the past I've used a cocktail stick, chopsticks and an eye pencil (depending on the size I want to make) and guillotined my own strips off random pieces of coloured paper.

And just to add...

Favourite Stephen King - IT
Favourite James Herbert - Once

Oooh tricky...

Maybe something like 77 Shadow Street, or Dragon Tears...

Oooh interesting.....I've not long finished 77 and found it tough going

Dragon Tears is the popular choice, it seems! :)
