What Photo Papers are you using

I have an Epson 1400 A3+ printer with an cis system bought off Ebay.
The papers I really like are Ilford Smooth Gloss, Innova Smooth Cotton High White, Somerset Photo Satin Cotton; and the Harman range of gloss papers.
I'm currently trying a Canson Test Pack looking to find one that is good for B+W prints.

you'll need to get profiles for each of the papers with the .

I don't like the harman RC gloss papers, innova make a nice range of papers at a decent price. not a fan of matt papers. You'll probably have a colour cast printing B&W with the R1400.

buyer beware on a lot of these overpriced papers, you'll not really notice any difference between them and some of the cheaper type papers

Hi POAH - there is a better way to produce B+W prints with the 1400 using a plain paper setting and only the black ink as detailed here by Brian (Zone8) and it works!!

Another way to reduce the colour cast would be in Selective colour add +8 Magenta and -4 Yellow.

a decent profile will help too - printing with one black will severly reduce the dmax you get
