What "pocket" camera?

My DX kit is pretty small and light, but I'm looking for something that I can throw into a coat pocket and take out without having to think about it for casual snapshots and video. I think I've narrowed it down to:

Sony Nex 5R/T
Olympus E-PM2

It seems to me that the Sony with the 16-50 lens is more pocketable and probably better at video, whilst the Oly seems to have better IQ (kit lens is slightly better and Capture one has a profile for it), but the video isn't great and I've read about a few issues concerning stabilisation (not to mention b****r all physical buttons). Anyone have any input on the above two or anything else that might be suitable?

I managed to stuff a D5100 with a 35 1.8G into one of my winter coat pockets :-) The 16-50 kit lens on the Nex 5 is a power zoom, so it's relatively compact. The Oly is a little bigger, although with a pancake lens it would definitely be pocketable.

I have a D90 and a D800 and have been mighty impressed by the rx100. Truly pocketable.

I'm sure if I wanted to...I could stuff my D7000 & 17-50 in my jacket pocket, but I reckon either go for something significantly smaller or perhaps think about a different bag for the DSLR.

But that's just my opinion.
 
Another vote for the RX100. Cracking little camera. Handling is much improved by a Franklin grip.
 
Fuji XF-1. In 35mm (FF) terms it has a 25-100mm lens which is f/1.8 at the wide end but slows down as you zoom in. Useable ISOs up to 1600. JPEGS print well SOOC up to A3+. Pocketable in a shirt pocket, let alone a jacket.
 
Thanks for all of the suggestions, the XF1 is very cheap at Currys, so could be a good option if it provides a good boost in performance over iphone 5 levels.
 
Bought a usdd canon g1x of the forum good all rounder apart from macro performance you just need "A large pocket"
