I am looking for a good little point and shoot camera to take to USA with me as I will be doing some ranching so I will need something that I can stick in my pocket and use it when and where with ease instead of taking my Canon out with me.

Quality piccys is a must and easy to use amm willing to spend around the £200 mark not much more so anyone got any ideas.

I previously had a little Pentax which was o.k. so any suggestions greatfully received.

Yes I have and even more confused now I was thinking of the Lumix LX3 any thing good or bad about these? would prefer 1st hand info from the people who know or have one please.

The LX3 is a superb camera. Check out flickr groups and type in Lumix LX3 and look at the images.
 
How about a fuji z20fd

I know there aren’t many review but they have a lot going for them. They are very compact 91mm x 56 x 19 and tough because the lens does not extend and retract like most compacts.

I brought one for my 65 year old mother who knows nothing about photography but the exposure, and sharpness are always amazing, and the images always have those rich fuji colours that other cameras don’t have.

The best bit is you can by a refurb one from fuji for £54.00
