Hi,
I have a Zenit EM 35mm SLR and I would like to use it to take pictures of small electronic components, preferably with the standard 55mm lens and as cheaply as possible but with good quality. 1:1 would be good.
The camera takes an M42 lens and the lens has a 52mm attachment fitting.
I found this extention tube, is this any good?

Anyone have any other suggestions?

The meter you have might be built in, but it's not coupled in any way, and it doesn't look through the lens. You have to take the reading from it in just the same way as you would with a separate hand meter, and transfer the settings to the camera. Main problem is that the built in meter is not very good.
