Hi, just a quick question!

I've already got a crumpler daily to hold ALL my stuff, but I'm looking for a smaller bag to hold my:

Canon 450D
Tamron 17-50
Canon 70-300
A few small accessories etc

Preferably a 100mm macro as well, but not essenial.

I quite like the crumpler range, but what model would people suggest? Or any alternatives?! Thanks!

Chris

Personally when I want to travel light I use a Canon 10EG bag that I got from LCE for about £30 I think. Well made with adjustable dividers etc. and should hold your required kit.

Cheers guys, I do quite like the crumpler range, and they're more discreet as well. The whole sizing thing confuses me, as crumpler seem to be VERY optimistic on their website! So the XXXL or newer muffin top (is the 7500 the same as the XXXL?) should fit all my stuff? Does anyone have any photos of them in use so I can see how big they are etc? I'd be really grateful if anyone does!

Chris

Crumpler Pretty Boy Backpac? I just sold one on here - the pics will give you an idea of size with some kit in it.

Ive just got the Crumpler Daily as my main bag and had a Muffin Top 7500 that i was going to get rid of. In hind sight i think i'll keep it as a smaller bag, heres a link to the review i did of it Click

Chris, lots of feedback and pics on this thread:

Crumpler Muffin Top 7500 will hold your gear easy, with instant access. That's why I got one - quick access straight from the shoulder, from a bag that doesn't look like it's got cameras in.

Lowepro Slingshot gets a lot of good mentions. I have the 200 which holds as much kit as I ever want to carry. Excellent bag, but obviously completely different to Muffin Top.

Edit: LOL crossed post with Euan :)

Thanks for the suggestions, I'm not really after a rucksack-type thing, I much prefer shoulder bags!

Thanks a lot for the links to the review, how does the pretty boy XXXL compare size-wise to the muffin top 7500? I know the muffin top replaced it, are they virtually the same size, or did it get bigger/smaller when the new model came out?

Chris

I got the XL (i think!) free with a mag subscription, it was similar in design etc to the muffin top so i would assume the xxxl and the 7500 would be similar. Thats the worse thing about Crumpler, they are the best bags (IMHO) but a nightmare to be able to actually see them in a shop.

Chris, I've got the Pretty Boy XXXL. I usually carry my Nikon D300 with Sigma 18-50 attached, Sigma 10-20 and Nikon 70-300VR in it. That lot fills it up. You could perhaps squeeze in one more small lens or a small flash but then it would be too full to be comfortable IMO.

Great, just what I wanted to hear! Does anyone know where the best place to get a muffin top of even better (and cheaper!) a pretty boy XXXL?
