what size sandisk card for 450d

Hello,

sorry if this is a really dumb and repeated question, but I cant find the answer in the book or searching for it.

I currenly have a 1GB sandisk card in my 450d ... its not big enough ..... is there a limit to size of memory card that the 450d can handle ? Or am I ok just going and sticking the biggest one in I can afford ?
 
I've been using 8GB cards in mine without a problem and I'm pretty certain that it will take 16GB but I don't know beyond that.
 
I would be inclined not to go over 16GB, as the more images on one card increases the loss if your card did go corrupt. I tend to use 8GB cards
 
Ah cheers for the answer guys ... I like the no limit answer the best ... however good point about loosing the pics if the card breaks ..... I think I will buy a couple of smaller cards then to keep it safe .. nice to know though that the 2 cards can be any size and I am not limited by poxy 1 or 2 GB limits
