Hi all, I've got a Nikon D5000 and wondered what software will be essential for my PC? I know Photoshop etc but what about 3rd party software that you personally find a great help to maybe managing your photographs or editing them. I just want to set myself up a nice routine when I take my images off of my camera. I find I have to re-size a lot of them to make them great for sending or posting online so maybe you have an option for those images?
Is the Nikon software any good?
I'm looking for a cheap remote shutter release for my Nikon D5000 to see how I get on so do you think that this will be ok?

I noticed the price to but I see people using £6 diffusers from Argos so maybe I will get away with this
Value your responses, thanks

for lightroom for processing and going through pictures. Plus its exports are brilliant for some batch operations as well.
