WHAT STUDIO LIGHTING

I have to do inventory photography of artefacts is some large old properties and I am looking for advice on a good basic lighting kit to include softbox, umbrella etc. I have seen some which just flood the subject with light and others have flash. Which is the best to get. One of the mags did an article on this last year and the winning amateur level kit was about £250. Comments please. Thanks:bang::bonk:

Hi Merv,
I got my first lighting rig from a site called Studio-flash.com.

This kit is ever so slightly over the £250 mark but I can say first hand that it is worth the dosh.
