What tele lens for my needs?

Hi guys, recently got a Nikon D90 and looking to expand my lens range but not sure whether to go for the Tamron 70-300 thats £90 at Jessops at the moment or the Nikon 55-300 ED VR, the Nikon does look a lot nicer but I only used my 70-200 that I had for my Sony A290 for wildlife and I don't get the opportunity to get out with the camera as much as I would like and the £110 saved on the Tamron could get me a yongnuo 467 flash and some other nice accesories, so what are your thoughts?

Do you need the 300mm? If not have you considered the nikon 55-200mm vr? Cracking lens and can be had for just over 100 used..just a thought;)
