What to blow the budget on

Hi Guys and Gals, I am looking to move into the DSLR world very shortly and will have a budget around the £700 mark. I currently have a Canon EOS 300 35mm and 2 lenses, a Canon EF 75-300 and a Canon 28-80mm. Now due to having 2 Canon lenses I am thinking of continuing down the Canon road. Should I blow my budget on a body or should I go more budget on my body and buy more/newer lenses. Any advice would be gratefully received

Bear in mind your lenses will beocme "longer" with all DSLRs other than full-frame (like the 5D). So on a 450D for example 28-80 would be like 45-128mm would have been on your film camera.

personally i'd never buy a 2nd hand body; lens yes, but not the body, no - just me :/

could get a 50d new in your price range

What setup do you use mate? you have some nice pics on your website

Look in all the Mags for a s/h 40d most shops now offer a 12mnth gtee on the bodys would not personally go for a 50d due to noise issues at higher iso's

Aren't shops selling off the last lot of 40Ds for about £500 body-only but brand new? I'd say that's a pretty solid buy...

£550 is the cheapest on camerapricebuster.
