What to keep, X100s or X-pro1?

No
Something happened to my computer yesterday and it apparently bought an X-pro1!
Now, my camera bag is getting stuffed and one needs to go and I can't make the decision.
I haven't used my X100s for a while, I mostly use my x-e2 with 18-55 lens. My free 55-200 is on it's way.
So, is the Xp1 good enough to keep over the X100s, I like the flexibility of zoom lenses but I like what the x100s gives me. Apart from the lovely fixed lens on the x100s and the reasonably fast AF, what would I miss? Does anybody have and use both, do you have a preference.
I don't think I would use both enough to warrant keeping them, then I could buy something else.........

Firstly you need to sort your computer out before it buys anything else all by itself ;)
Secondly, only you can decide which camera works best for you, but from what you've said it sounds like the X100s is already surplus to your needs. I grab my X100 when I don't want to carry a bag full of other lenses "just in case" but if you're happy to carry the XE2 with kit zoom then the X100s is probably redundant.

I just sold my X100s,to buy the new 18-135mm lens, the other thing was i have got the 23mm F1.4 which i can use on the X-pro 1,if i just want to take out a camera and one lens.

To be honest i could justified keeping the X100s and the 23mm F1.4, :)

I sold my X100 in favour of the XP1. I was going to keep both as I felt I would miss the 23mm view from the X100 but to be honest I don't really miss it at all. I love the 35mm on the XP1 more but that's just me. If you find it's not getting the use then I would strongly consider selling up. You could always get the 23mm for the XP if you did miss it however it's quite a hefty lens IMO.

The X100 is quieter and discreet compared which is one thing I did notice. I think overall its a case of what fits/suits you better

I bought an xpro1 and an x100s thinking it would be a great combo. I decided very quickly I preferred the xpro1 and bought a second after selling the x100s. I used to almost entirely use a 35mm and I do sometimes miss that fov but I think the 35 and the 18 cover it. Plus I got to get the 14mm as I had some money left after the change.

Well, I ordered my X-pro1 on Sunday, from Fuji, and paid for next day delivery so was expecting it to arrive today.
It hasn't, even though I had an email yesterday to say it had been dispatched.
So, decision is delayed a day.
I am leaning towards selling the X100s, I haven't really used it for months, it just depends how the xp1 feels.

I have x pro1, x e1, x100s and x100 I just bought a bigger bag lol but the x100 has to go to buy more glass

I have an XF1. X20. X100s. Xe2 and the Xp1 on its way.
I'd like to keep them all, but I'd like a couple more lenses.
Da*n Fuji for making such good cameras!

Brilliant lenses too, your right

Personally, I'd keep the X-Pro over the X-100 purely because I would find the fixed focal length of the X-100 restrictive. However, it's entirely the OP's choice.

Just to make things difficult.

I could never give up having my x100s permanently in my jacket pocket.

This evening for example. I was rushed into hospital. All OK, nothing to worry about, but need more tests.

While hanging around, bored, I was able to sneak a few piccies.

12 hours I was there - 12 hours!

I only had a suspected heart attack ffs.

Turns out it was probably indigestion.

I have just bought an X100S as a street/travel camera as I like the slightly faster AF over My XP1's and will keep all 3, as for the OP's question I would offload the XF1 & X20 as the X100S is far superior.

Well done that man! I didn't realise how handy an X100s would be, maybe I should keep them all.
I like the XF1 as a back pocket camera and the X20 as a quick grab camera...........
