What type of kit do i need?

Ive been into the bmx scene for a while but only recently got into photography,
and was wondering from other people in the same field what type of lens's
in my kit i should be looking at getting also what is the best type of flash to get and any other handy essentials?

Any help on this would be a great help

Generallyskate/BMX shots tend to be fisheyes and off camera flashes (although TBH I find that gets boring, but it is what get run in the mags).

As you are on a cropped sensor you will be looking at something like the tokina 10-17mm or sigma 10mm fisheye lenses (the Canon 15mm fisheye won't have the 180° field of view on your camera). For lighting have a read of the strobist blog, generally 2 or 3 flashes are used though.
