What video format for Samsung TV on memory stick ?

Hello,

We like to watch Black and white films and normally watch them after downloading them from YouTube on the PC ( with have a terrible internet connection) We would like to watch them on our main TV which is a Samsung. Does anyone know what format they will need to be ? I don't have a spare memory stick to try at the moment.

It'll probably tell you in the TV's instructions - almost certainly available online if you can't find them. It might be impossible to do too. Maybe use an HDMI cable to link the PC to the TV, basically using the TV as a monitor.

I suspect the memory stick formatted in exfat which is default for standard memory stick, as to format the samsung should play pretty much anything but generally MP4 most video files are mkv i suppose the question is where will you be geting your video files from?

The TV is in the other room unfortunately so HDMI cable option is out, the files are from YouTube which when downloaded are MP4 files sop fingers crossed it should work.
