This is just a sneaky way of finding out how old I am! ;)

Running Bear sung by Johnny Preston

Louis Armstrong - "What a Wonderful World"

My parents begged to differ :p

Pat

:lol::lol:

I arrived several weeks earlier (and was very nearly born in a pub car park!!:eek:) I should of hatched at the end of July instead I landed in the middle of June!

But................if I had hatched as expected George McCree would of been at number 1 with the very aptly titled "Rock your baby":naughty::baby:

The somewhat less than sublime - Mull of Kintyre. Not one of McCartney's finer moments...

Although the first song I ever heard was Cat Stevens - Father and Son, which my parents played with my Dad holding me in his arms while sitting on the stairs after having arrived home from hospital. A proper classic, and very decent, first song to have listened to.

Jan '78

Johnny Mathis - "When a Child is Born (Soleado)"

Although my dad was a big fan of The Marcels at the time.....hence my name ;)

dickie valentine "christmas alphabet" [S1]55[/S1]

Dr Hook - 'When You're In Love With A Beautiful Woman' Nov '79.

Dunno why everyone goes on about how great the 70s were. The 4 weeks that I experienced were pretty tame...

Another one for Rolf and his two little boys.

Not what I'd have picked but there's far far worse in this thread. :lol:
