What would your next 500 squid go on??

Im moving to Australia for a year in a few months and im starting to take my photography more seriously, mainly event (MMA and Music) atm.

Iv got a canon 50D and the 17-85mm kit as well as a 50mm 1.8, as well as my old pentax k100D(which my little sister has appropriated) with a fair few old school lens

but i ramble on basically what i want to know is would you spend you next 500 pounds on

sigma 70-200mm f2.8 (non-OS) or a flash gun or something else???

I know i mainly do event but what do you shoot and what would you pick?

Unless you need the 2.8, i'd get a 70-200 f4 l, which is an amazing len's. Really sharp.

Get one of those second hand, for 350/400 and then try get a second hand flash

I was lucky enough to borrow a 70-200mm f4 and thought it was awesome however the f4 was quite a hindrance especially for indoor or outdoor stages :/ so i think the f2.8 is a better option

I was going to try and get all of the gear second hand

I have the F4 IS and was thinking of upgrading to the 2.8 but then decided it was too big and heavy to always have. In my bag. I. Hink the F4 is a reasonable compromise.
