What zoo? London or Colchester?

Hi,
Thinking of taking a trip to the zoo next week but can't decide what one would be better, London or Colchester?

Anyone been to both and say what is the better one?

Its either London or Colchester.

What makes Colchester better?

My visit is purely for photography, try out a new lens and get some practice in.

Colchester is bigger and nicer. London Zoo look a bit run down to me, I was at Colchester Zoo a couple of weeks back see below!

I went London in the end ( http://www.talkphotography.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=487451 ), was a good day for it. Will go Colchester if we get some more nice weather this year.

May have to wait till next!

I like London Zoo, then again I am a ZSL Fellow and live as good as next to Whipsnade Wild Animal Park...Close enough for the horny Lions to wake me up
