Beginner Whata the Samyang 1,5 24 mm good for?

This lens came with my camera I'm just wondering when should I use this lens and when should I use my regular 50mm that came with the camera.

When you want a wider angle of view I guess. Use whatever lens gets you the result you are trying to achieve.
