What's the best circular polariser?

I have got 2 holidays booked, one to Margaret River which is South West Australia and the other is 2 weeks on the South island of New Zealand.

Hence all these questions about filters I have been asking!

I am guessing that most people will use Hoya circular polarisers as they are a massive brand. Are they any good?

What are peoples suggestions?

Yes they are very good. If you're feeling really rich it's worth seeking out the slimline pro type one though they are twice the price. Certainly if you're going to use it on anything very wide angle the slimmer one is less likely to cause vignetting.

Marumi - nothing is better for the price. Hoyas below the black series are... Well, not as good and certainly overpriced. And it's very hard to clean them for some reason.

Better. Far beyond Hoya. More expensive.
