I too noticed the issue.....it came back but has now been down again for a few days.

I thought there was a FB group for updating in the event of such issues but wracking my brains and looking could not find it :(

Ian is having problems with both the forum update and the service provider in the u.s.a ,he thought it was sorted and now there’s a block been put on a vital part of the update ,till he gets clearance update we will have to wait

Update Thurs morning , new banner saying site is now up and running but not yet ready for posting , guess there checking it out

Just been to look and the site is there but every link I clicked on from the front page I got a '404' error.

Not tired logging in but I guess that may not be functioning yet.

I think we will just need to be patient....

I feel for Ian, he must be tearing his hair out.
Yeah it seems the hosting site in the u.s.a is about as much use as a chocolate fire guard

Still not up and running ,but being migrated to a new euro server

GOOD NEWS the forum has come back online tonight 18/05 /26 fingers crossed it stays stable

Thanks for the heads up :)

Though I had to do a forgotten password:(

Gets to a point when a website is down for a long period that people no longer try to visit.
Maybe it should have just had a new start rather than try to load everything back as it was.

I have been following the (non)progress on their Facebook page.
To be honest I think Ian the owner will end up being ill if he continues much longer.
Time for this website to fade into the sunset I reckon

That would be sad - it's been a friendly and informative forum.

There are a number of somewhat difficult to solve issues concerned with the new server, the old server and software.

As Jeff mentioned, Ian also has a number of personal issues that Ian has to deal with and these aren't making things easy for him and his family.

The Forum problems are being worked on, and had it not been for a number of software Gremlins and hardware failures things would have been solved by now.

There is a lot of work being done "behind the scenes" and it is going to take a bit longer than hoped and expected to get get things up and running.

Patience is really required here from all of the e-group Forum members.

Exactly!
No doubt Ian will have it all sorted in due course :)
