It is my experience that you get what you pay for... especially where Photography and IT are concerned. Personally I would not bother, go with Canon's version.

Canon don't make a comparable product to those triggers - have a browse through the Talk Lighting section to read more about them.

If THIS is the same as the one you were looking at, I can recommend Phottix products, they are excellent.
