Having been trying to get to grips with macro photography on the cheap I have taken the plunge and splashed out on a Tamron sp 90, Today was the first play with it but the stiff breeze made things a little difficult but here are the best of a bad lot.

As always all advice warmly received.
Any Tammy 90 user give me any advise ? I think lighting is going to be a major issue as the HVL 46am I have is struggling at 1:1 but I am working on improving it if possible. Ian

All look well exposed and as sharp as a sharp thing to me (y)

I like two and three, nice shots.

I've just bought this lens too, hopefully it will be here tomorrow... could you post some 100% crops?

Crispily sharp... very nice set... I want a proper macro lens...

I think the lens is very good yesterdsys condition where quite difficult and It was my first time of using a proper macro lens.

A 100% crop means where you post part of the photo up at it's original size.]

So take a crop from the original 5000 x 3000 image and post it up full size. (don't do the whole image or it'll be massive obviously).

I've just started with macro using a closeup filter. I keep thinking I'll buy a canon ef 100 f2.8 macro but this lens and the 105 sigma both seem very good.

Cheers, I just took delivery of mine :D

Shame the weather is so naff, windy and grey. Good old England!

Those all look very sharp to my eyes. having said that, the flies make my flesh creep. But that is not the fault of of the photographer. Well not really.
