I realize only I can make the decision

I was considering upgrading from a 50D to a 5D2 when I realised that I hate packing up a huge bag full of stuff to take out and that I always come back with a sore back.
I'm not a professional, I don't shoot fast subjects and my family generally trembled (either rage or fear - not sure) when the 50D came out with a 24-105 on the end.
I sold it all, and moved to an X-E1 with some very nice glass, and now I love to push the shutter again. All my gear fits in a small (and very light) bag. I'm very happy.
