When you think - my bag seems light.

I was packing my bag this morning ready for tonight's highlight of the Capital One Cup - Rotherham vs Cambridge and thought hmm something doesn't seem right.

1D4 and 70-200 - tick
2nd body - tick
4G Mifi - tick
Card reader & spare battery - tick
Network cables and USB adapter- tick
Rain covers - tick
Towel - tick

So I shut the bag and put it by the front door.

Then goodness knows how it suddenly occurred to me - laptop.

I had been charging it in the lounge.

Phew.

Seriously, to minimise this happening to me (and heaven knows it's very likely with me!), I always pack the same things in the same way and in the same place every time, so it becomes a visual memory thing

I had a worry that when i start using behind the goal camera (all setup now just awaiting the opportunity) that i would get home and leave it behind the goals cus not used to it

I once arrived at a gig where I was supposed to be playing guitar without a guitar. Not sure how I forgot that. I only had to take two things with me!

I smile when my bag feels light it means I did the right thing when I sold off my heavy full frame DSLR and lens's and replaced it with a Fuji XT-1.
